A new school year is starting!
The new school year is underway, and we are thrilled to welcome our students back.
Selásskóli's school orientation takes place Monday, Aug. 24, as students in grades 2 through 7 gather with their guardians in the school hall. School administrators will address the students, who will then head to their classrooms with their guardians and homeroom teachers. Curriculum presentations will follow. Students in grades 5 through 7 will attend these presentations with their guardians, while younger students take part in a movement session led by physical education and practical arts teachers.
Grades 2 and 3 arrive at 9 a.m.
Grades 4 and 5 arrive at 10 a.m.
Grades 6 and 7 arrive at 11 a.m.
Homeroom teachers for grade 1 students will reach out with further details about their specific arrangements.
Classes for grades 2 through 7 begin on their regular schedule Tuesday, Aug. 25, while grade 1 classes start Wednesday, Aug. 26.
