Selásskóli school calendar
A school calendar is issued for each school year. It shows when students should be in school, which days deviate from the regular school day, and which days students have off. You can download your own interactive school calendar as well as a printable PDF version of the school calendar.
Under the collective wage agreement between municipalities and the Icelandic Teachers' Union, all 180 statutory student school days must fall within the period of Aug. 20 to June 10. Five dedicated teacher professional development days are scheduled during the student term. These days are determined by the principal in consultation with teachers and in accordance with collective wage agreements. There are eight teacher professional development days scheduled outside the student term.
Below is the school calendar for the 2026-2027 school year.
